Exporting to Excel

Exporting an analysis workbook or template to Excel replaces the calculation formulas with their results. Use this function when you want a copy of the workbook that contains numbers instead of formulas, and that does not include the hidden rows and columns from the original worksheets. This function is typically used to share the workbook with the valuation client.

To export the active file:

Step01Select Analysis | Export to Excel

From the Analysis menu, select Export to Excel. The Export to Excel Dialog Box will appear.

Step02Select the Sheets

Use the folder tree to select the sheets that you want to export.

bUse the Expand and Collapse buttons to open and close all of the folders at once.

bYou can select and deselect all of the sheets using the Check All and Uncheck All buttons.

Step03Enter the Starting Sheet Number

Enter the starting sheet number. This settings corresponds to the @ExhibitSchedule ValuSource data code. Leave the input blank if you do not want numbered sheets.

Step04Select the OK Button

Click on the OK button. ValuSource Pro will export the selected sheets to a workbook file and open the file in Excel.
