Financial statements trends measure the changes in accounts over time. The Financial Analysis \ Financial Statement Trends folder contains worksheets that measure trends on both an historic and an adjusted basis.

Compound Annual Growth Worksheets

The Compound Annual Growth worksheets show the constant growth rate that yields the current value from the starting value for each year of financial data.

The formula for compound growth is:

i = (a/b)^(1/n)-1

Where:

a = ending value

b = starting value

n - number of periods (years)

Multi-Year Growth Worksheets

The Multi-Year Growth worksheets show average annual, compound annual, and annual growth rates over the time frame of the financial data.
