The Personal Consumption page is enabled and disabled by the Deduct Personal Consumption checkbox in the Options section of the General Setup page. You use the Personal Consumption page to set the options for calculating the decedent's personal consumption.

Apply Income Study

This checkbox determines if the income consumption rate is entered manually or if variable rates are calculated using one of the consumption of income studies. See the Consumption of Income Studies inputs below.

Income

If you do not apply a consumption of income study (the Apply Income Study checkbox is empty), then you enter the decedent's income consumption rate here.

Household Services

Enter the decedent's household services consumption rate.

These controls are enabled when the Apply Income Study checkbox is filled (see Consumption Rates above). Select the study that you want to apply to decedent's consumption of income calculation. For information about a specific income study, see Personal Income Consumption Data.

These controls are enabled when the Married checkbox is filled in Decedent section of the General Setup page.

The text inputs (First Name, Middle Name or Initial, Last Name) in this section are provided for your convenience. They are not used in the report.
The Gender and Birth Date inputs are used to calculate the value of household services when deducting the decedent's personal consumption.
