File Commands

Please Note: File commands can only be used in report templates.

When you create a report from a template that contains a File command, the linked file is inserted into the new report. The File command is not hot-linked. The command is removed when the file is inserted. The linked file may not contain commands. You can change the linked file for a File command from the Edit Command Panel in the Report Navigator.

File Controls

The File text displays the path of the linked file. To change the linked file, click on the Change File Button.
