You can move accounts in the Historic Balance Sheet and the Historic Income Statement. When you move an account, its position automatically changes on all of the non-summary worksheets derived from the historic financial statement. For example, if you move an account in the Historic Balance Sheet, the account will move to the same position on all of the adjustment worksheets and on the Adjusted Balance Sheet.
Please Note: You can only move an account within its parent account.
You cannot move an account from one parent account to another parent account. For example, you cannot move the Checking sub-account from the Cash account to the Inventory account.
Please Note: Certain accounts cannot be moved.
You cannot move accounts in rows that only contain green cells. In addition, the following accounts cannot be moved:

To move an account, follow these steps:
Select the Account
Click on the account that you want to move. Certain accounts cannot be moved. See above for more information.
Select the Move Account Command
Click on the Move button on the Desktop Toolbar. You will receive a prompt if the account you selected cannot be moved. If it can be moved, the Move Account Dialog Box will appear.
Select the New Position
You position an account by placing it above or below another account. The dialog box has option buttons for Above and Below and lists the accounts that you can move the selected account relative to.
As was mentioned at the start of this topic, you can only move an account within its parent account.
Select the OK Button
Click on the OK Button. The dialog box will close and the account will move to the location you selected.
