To create a new report template:
Open or Create an Analysis File
Open or create the Analysis file that you want your new report template to be based on.
Please Note: Since your new report template will be based on the Analysis file that is currently open, it is important that you select the correct Analysis file as the first step.
Select Report | New | Template
From the Report menu, select New | Template. The New Report Template Dialog Box will appear.
Select the Template to Copy
The New Report Template Dialog Box lists the report templates found in the root folder and the default report templates folder. Click on the template that you want to copy, then click on the OK button in the low right corner of the New Report Template Dialog Box. The New Report Template Dialog Box will close and a standard Save As dialog box will appear.
Browsing for a Template
If the template you want to copy isn't listed in the New Report Template Dialog Box, click on the Browse button. When you select a template using the Browse feature, the New Report Template Dialog Box closes automatically and a standard Save As dialog box appears.
Name the New Template
Use the Save As dialog box to assign a file name to the new template. When you select the Save button, the dialog box will close and the new template will open.
