Creating an Analysis File

To create a new Analysis file:

step01Select the New Analysis Command

You can create an Analysis file from the Home Screen or in Analysis Mode.

Under the Analysis header, select Start a new analysis. On the right side of the screen, select New analysis.

wAnalysis Mode

Click on the New Button in the Desktop Toolbar, or select Analysis | New | Analysis.

Step02Select the Template

The New Analysis Dialog Box lists the Analysis templates found in the root folder and the default Analysis templates folder. Click on the template that you want to use, then click on the OK button in the low right corner of the New Analysis Dialog Box.

If the template you want to use isn't listed in the New Analysis Dialog Box, click on the Browse button.

Step03Save the Active Analysis File

If an existing Analysis file is open, you will be prompted you to save it. Select Yes to save the file and No to discard any changes.

step04Save the New Analysis File

Use the Save Analysis As Dialog Box to assign a filename to the new Analysis file. You set the default folder for Analysis files in the Analysis Options.
