Report Options

The Report options affect Report Mode.

File Locations

The File Locations options set the standard folders for reports and report templates. To change one of these settings, click on the Browse Button to the right of the text box. Use the dialog box that appears to select the folder.

General

The General options affect how commands and helper text are processed.

Remove spaces before and after cell links

Removes any leading and trailing spaces from the contents of linked cells. For example, a cell that contains " John Smith " will appear in a report as "John Smith".

Ignore empty cell errors

By default, a Cell command generates an error if it is linked to an empty cell. The error is displayed in the report or template. Fill this checkbox to ignore the errors. Links to empty cells will not display any content.

Default Date Format

Format applied to all Cell commands displaying dates that do not have a format specified in the command. These commands show "Same as Excel" in the Format Control in the Edit Command Panel on the Report Navigator.
