You use the DVD data methods to value household services automatically based on the plaintiff's demographics. For the data citation, see Household Services Data. There are two DVD data methods using two different years of data:

Apply 2005 Dollar Value of a Day (DVD) Data
Apply 2010 DVD Data

Ages of Plaintiff and Children

The DVD data methods automatically process the ages of the plaintiff and any children. As these individuals grow older, the correct tables from the DVD data are applied by the application. No additional inputs are required.

Note:

The DVD data methods do not automatically handle the plaintiff's retirement. To apply the demographic data for retired individuals you need to define services at the Retirement Date event, select the DVD data method you are applying, and set the Employment input to Retired.
