Note:

In general the settings for the various calculation methods are "sticky". If you change back and forth between methods, the settings for the different methods are retained and automatically reapplied. There is one exception to this rule: the Region setting for the DVD methods. When you change from any other calculation method to one of the DVD methods, the Region setting on the DVD Values page automatically resets to the first item in the current list. Please review the regional adjustment settings if you change to a DVD calculation method. See Applying a Regional Adjustment.

You select the calculation method used to value the household services performed at an event from the drop down list at the top of the Edit Event Workspace:

Selecting the Calculation Method

SelectEventCalcMethod

ArrowSelect Manual Calculation to value the household services by entering hours per week and dollars per hour for the services performed. See Manual Calculation Method.

ArrowSelect Apply 2005 Dollar Value of a Day (DVD) Data or Apply 2010 DVD Data to value household services automatically based on the plaintiff's demographics. See DVD Data Methods.

ArrowSelect No Services Performed if the plaintiff does not perform, or in the case of severe disability cannot perform, any household services. Since no services are performed their value is set to zero ($0).
